Does the job

Whenever I need to go, Grab can always find me a good driver and a clean car. Thats all I need.

1. My phone number is registered to someone else (recycled numbers are fairly common in Singapore.... come on grab....) . Grab customer service either doesnt understand plain english or cant fix the problem and is just playing dumb. 2. The positioning system that tells a driver where to pick you up locks in on a street address so you pretty much need to text or call them every time to make sure they dont get confused or you end up walking a lot to find the taxi. No pin drop mechanism like uber. 3. Stopped receiving email receipts for grab pay for no apparent reason. Need these to get reimbursed by my employer. Failsauce. its just another crappy ride hailing app at this point.

Grab in Cebu has become completely unreliable. From no drivers to drivers who accept and then cancel when they find something better, this service is being embarrassed by Uber. Grab needs to get control of their drivers and have so E repercussions when their drivers leave a passenger hanging.

Ordered taxi through this nifty app. Taxi could not find my location despite being the only building in the street and despite gps clearly showing my condo with a name... driver called for clarification but did not speak English. The hell with English anyway, the app showed the location perfectly. Driver cancelled the trip so I magically saw my order disappear from the app. Despite him being "no show" I have been served with a bill for 39 baht. Niftiest app is useless if driver cannot use it. He cannot use it and I wont anymore - "delete" and no more grabbing grab taxi for me.

Better than taxi?

Use it if you have 3 hours to spare and want an occasional free ride.

If youre going to Vietnam (or any country using Grab), you need this app. Really.

Too bad, cause I used to use this app nearly everyday. Havent been able to use it since the update in March.

The app works very well and continues to be improved. Very reliable service and super fast reply to any requests from the customer service (worlds better than Uber!)
