Have been using the application for quite some time and faced no issues until they upgraded from grab taxi to grab. The service has worsen dramatically. 1) waiting time became incredibly along or (even worse) no one picks up your order (outside peak Hours) while the app shows dozens of available cabs. Peak hours no way you can find a car 2) grab economy. The app always suggests economy option which is in fact not cheap, usually the fare is either same or more expensive than regular taxi. During cny they charged 30-40 sgd for 6-8 sgd ride. 3) customer service. Awful. Had an issue with them, contacted call center and via email, never got my problem solved. To summarise, transformation turned out to be downgrade. Hopefully another big player enters Singaporean taxi market, like Gett, so competition will force them to improve the service.
